Thierry has explored most of his instrument repertoire.
He feels comfortable to play in a wide variety of styles and eras (baroque, classical, ancient music, romantic, contemporary, pop, jazz, film music...).
He particularly enjoys the richness of interaction emerging from chamber music works.

Playing with a pianist or even with an organist, Thierry can easily go from an intimist to a declamatory style. With a brass quintet, he creates a spirit; with a jazz combo, he takes part to the dialogue improvising creative and well-structured melodies.

Thierry fulfils his musical role quite well as a section member when he’s joining a wind ensemble, a symphonic orchestra or a big band.
Within ensembles devoted to new music repertoire, he tries to understand and sustain composer’s intentions.
